From a series called “Legendary Rock Stars”. Half early A-sides (from 1960–1965), half tracks from ‘Dance With The Shadows’ and ‘The Sound Of The Shadows’, a pretty familiar formula, but still great music. The problem here is with what is described as the “remastering”, which can mean many different things: in this case, as with certain other Polish Shads CDs, it means lots of vinyl dubs, noise and all. For those who regret throwing their record-players in the bin, Guitar Tango will be a real treat.
