"The Solid Gold Collection" 2CD set by Hank Marvin
The Hank Marvin history accompanying this set, originally released for promotion in Asda stores, was taken from that in the OFFICIAL BROCHURE of his Guitar Player Tour in 2002, and is presented here for completeness.

"Memories: 36 Guitar Moods" 2CD Set by The Shadows
This 2CD set from Demon focuses on interpretations of a wide variety of music, most of which enjoyed chart success in the 1980s. The annotation presents a brief history of the group and comments selectively on content.

"The Ultimate Collection" CD by The Shadows
This handsomely packaged M & S disc provides a selection from the 1989 The Shadows At Their Very Best with some choice covers of instrumental classics.



"The Final Tour" 2CD Set / DVD / VHS by The Shadows
In 2004 The Shadows' Final Tour was followed up with an eagerly awaited 2CD audio and DVD/ VHS video release for the Christmas market. I wrote the main article, which was the same throughout the formats but different from my article in the OFFICIAL BROCHURE of the tour. The venue chosen for both audio and video coverage was Cardiff – you can check out a report by Matt Sanders on the concert itself HERE.

"54 Guitar Greats" 3CD Set by The Shadows
This is a set commissioned by supermarket chain Tesco, in their series of 3CD exclusives which sell for under £10. There is brief annotation spread over the liners to the discs: Classic Hits, Classic Covers & Classic Themes.

"Guitar Ballads" 2CD Set by Hank Marvin
The Hank Marvin history accompanying this first release was taken from that in the OFFICIAL BROCHURE of his Guitar Player Tour in 2002, and is presented here for completeness.
