Cliff and The Shadows deliver an excellent interpretation of this classic hit. The Shadows provide blistering instrumental support with fine soloing from Hank, representing some of their best work in this series. Quality wise unfortunately, the track is fairly poor. Though the audio output levels are quite high, bad reception and interference spoils much of the song. It is unknown when this track was recorded at Radio Luxembourg's studios though it is likely to have been sometime in 1961.
MC: muffled with levels swinging up and down, but it is still possible to savour that trademark resonant Fender and in particular what was once upon a time clearly a typically loud and clear, stylish, "hall-filling" Marvin solo.
