Summary: This richly illustrated companion volume to A Guide To The Shadows And Hank Marvin On CD (1999) and The Shadows At EMI (2001) focuses on the material recorded for release on the Polydor label in the final phase of The Shadows’ career, and examines each individual release in depth. Included in the volume are 200 illustrations, with over 50 on-stage shots of the group in the Polydor era from highly respected Shads photographers John Hank Humphrey and David Hawley; there are also cover pics of a wealth of CD and vinyl product, together with a complete set of picture sleeves of the numerous 1980’s Singles covered by the group.
