When it comes to turning an appendix into a book, Malcolm Campbell is quite simply the best. Here he presents another wealth of facts and figures as a companion to his expansive Guide To Hank Marvin And The Shadows On CD.

With their worldwide recording history, just keeping track of what’s been released by the band is difficult for any fan, but everything from their time with EMI (1959 to 1980) is clearly listed in here. This represents the majority of their recordings together and lists all of the released tracks, both as The Drifters and The Shadows, including everything they played with Cliff Richard. And boy could they churn them out!

No doubt Malcolm’s next publication will cover the next phase. His accuracy is exemplary and his material comes from a vast range of sources. All the fans will want this, without doubt, and it should be available in your local book store.
